SeeYa is a South Korean Female band group initially formed by Nan Gyu-RI, Kim Yeon-Ji, and Lee Boo-ram. This girl group is known as the girl version of SG Wannabe. They debuted in the K-pop scene in back 2006. SeeYa is famous among K-pop fans and the industry for its top hits like “Love Greetings.” Also, they won the best girl band of the year award in the Mnet Asian Music Awards in 2007. In 2009, Lee Soo-mi replaced Nam Gyu-Ri, as Nam Gyu-Ri left the group to pursue her career as a solo artist.

Later, Lee Soo-mi also left the group, leaving the duo. The group composed songs and albums as a duo before their disbandment in 2011.

SeeYa Debut

SeeYa debuted in the K-pop culture through their first album named “The First Mind’. Their album was released on 24 February 2006.  Along with their first album, they launched two singles called Shoes and A Woman’s Scent. Also, they composed the soundtrack of a popular drama named “The Invisible Man.” With their first album, they receive massive appreciation and popularity in the K-pop industry the audience. Also, their second album named “Lovely Sweet Heart,” released on 25 May 2007, is ranked at 5th best-selling album in Korea for 2007, selling more than 81000 copies. Also, their singles win awards for their massive popularity.

SeeYa is a girl band, which is owned by MBK Entertainment Group ( Which is formerly known as Core Content Media). Initially, the group consisted of three members and debuted in the K-pop industry in 2006.  Later with a different lineup, the group has been rebranded with a new name called SeeYa.

SeeYa consists of four members named Gyuri, Kim Yeon-Ji, Lee Boo-ram, and Lee Soo-mi. In 2009, Gyuri faced contract issues with the company, which lead her to leave the group. After finding new management, she returned to the music industry in 2009.

Later in 2009, Gyuri alleges that her contract with the group is over, and she is free to leave. However, the company said that her contract is not over, and she might face legal action for taking such a step. Later on 13 August 2009, the company announced that Gyuri had left the band permanently. Soon, Lee Soomi joined the group as a new addition.
