Stellar happened to be a South Korean girl band that ended with Minhee, Soyoung, Youngheun, and Hyoeun in the year 2018. It was formed in the year 2011 by Entertainment Pascal and it was produced initially by Eric Mun who happened to belong to the boy band called Shinhwa.
The band although in the year 2011 couldn’t earn its name from their debut single called Rocket Girl. After their failed debut, the band underwent a change in Lineup and released their next single called UFO in the year 2012. Which too couldn’t make much of a difference in the music industry. This made them work with a production team called MonoTree in the year 2013. Around the same time, they released the song called Study. The song did better than others as it receives some fame as it made it to the top 100 of the Gaon Digital Chart.
Stellar started forming around the year 2010 and it was supposed to be a six-member kpop band. But soon after the news was released, Kim Ga-young signed a contract with the company claiming to join a band of 5 members. Although the final lineup for Stellar the female kpop band was Lee-seul, JoA, Gayoung, and Jeon-Yul. The band debuted in the year 2011 with their single Rocket Girl, which was released digitally. In the year 2012, two of the members Lee-Seul and JoA left the group, and their places were replaced by Hyo-eun and Min-hee and the band made a comeback with UFO.
It was only in the year 2014, they released their first extended play, which was called Marionette. There were some criticisms received by the band for their stripping game which was part of the promotional concept. Although, despite many such controversies the single became a hit. Took up the position of 34th in the Gaon and 35th in the Billboard K-pop Hot 100 charts.
Stellar members
JoA joined the band during formation and was in the band till 2012. LeeSeul too followed a similar timeline and was in the band till the year 2012. Jeonyul and Gayoung both were in the band right from the time of formation till the mid of 2017. Minhee and Hyoeun joined the band in early 2012 and continued till the band broke up finally in the year 2018. Soyoung and Youngheun joined the band at a much later phase in the year 2017. Continued till the band lasted.
Stellar ages
Joo Min-hee who was responsible for the vocals was born in the year 1993 in Gueui-dong in South Korea. The lead vocalist of the kpop Kim Ga-young was born in the year 1991 also in Seoul. Jeonyul and Leeseul were both rappers of the band and were born in 1994 and 1990 respectively. Hyoun was born in the year 1993, Soyoung in the year 1993 while Cho Young-jin was born in the year 1991.
Stellar albums
Even though stellar could not establish its dominance in the kpop music industry. The band still released a bunch of albums. Rocket Girl in the year 2011, UFO in the year 2012, and Study and Marionette under the album called Marionette in 2013 and 2014 respectively. Sting was released between the years 2015 and 2016 and their last two albums. Cry and Stellar into the world were released in the year 2016 and 2017 respectively.
