The seven-girl band Weeekly was launched by the label Play M Entertainment. This South Korean band was the second girl group under Play M Entertainment. Some of its members have previous experience in the music industry as contestants and performers under other labels.

The official fandom name for this band is Dailee. Each of their music videos crossed millions of views on YouTube and is still counting the rise of views and likes. 

Weeekly Debut

The group was first named PlayM Girls when PlayM Entertainment confirmed its launch on May 8, 2020. Three days later, on May 11, 2020, the group name was revealed to be Weeekly and the names and profile pictures of the members were released. Weeekly’s debut Extended Play (EP) “We Are” was released on June 30. Eighteen hours before this, their lead single “Tag Me (@Me)” was released.



Weeekly Members

The band consists of seven talented artists. The leader of the group is Lee Soojin. She is the sub vocalist, sub rapper, and the face of the group. The second member is Shin Jiyoon who is the lead vocalist and sub rapper of Weeekly. The next member is Kim Ji Min who is known by the stage name Monday. She is the vocal leader of the group as well as the main vocalist, main dancer, and sub-rapper.

The fourth member of the band is Park Soeun who is the lead dancer and the lead vocalist. The next artist LeeJaehee is a sub vocal and a sub rapper. The sixth member Jihan whose birth name is Han Ji Hyo is the lead vocalist and visual of Weeekly. The last member is Zoa whose real name is Jo Hye Won and is the subvocal and the sub rapper.

Weeekly Ages

The leader Lee Soojin is the eldest member of the group who was born on December 12, 2001, and is 20 years old. The second eldest member Shin Jiyoon was born on March 2, 2002. The next member Monday’s birthday is on May 10, 2002, and Park Soeun was born on October 26, 2002. All these three members are 19 years old.

Lee Jaehee was born on March 18, 2004, and Jihan on July 12, 2004. Both of them are 17 years old. The youngest member of the band Zoa was born on May 31, 2005, and is only 15 years old.

Weeekly Albums

Weeekly’s debut album “We Are” was released on June 30th in the year 2020. The next Extended Play “We Can” was released on October 13, 2020. The other EPs “We Play” and “Play Game: Holiday” were released on March 17, 2021, and August 4, 2021, respectively. All these tracks are released in Korean.

Weeekly Songs

The single tracks in these albums are “Tag Me (@Me)”, “Zig Zag”, “After School”, and “Holiday Party”. Where the first two tracks were released in the year 2020 and the next two tracks in the following year, 2021.

Weeekly also released a non-album single titled “7Days Tension” in 2021. They also released soundtracks for the OST Wannabe Ryan as “Boom Chi Ki” and for Hello, Me! as “Wake Up”. Their digital tracks include “Tag Me (@Me)”, “Zig Zag”, “After School”, “7Days Tension”, and “Holiday Party”.
